While inaugurating the project, Abbas said the hospital “is reaffirming the government’s commitment to health and well-being of all Nigerians”.
He also said that the provision of the hospital signifies a giant step towards addressing the disparities in healthcare accessibility.
“This is symbolising the collective aspirations for a Nigeria where quality healthcare is a right for every citizen.
“The hospital is a crucial resource in the ongoing efforts to improve the well-being of the community,” Abbas said.

He appealed to Nigerians to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“The legislative arm is working hand-in-hand with major stakeholders to bring dividends of democracy to the people,” Abbas added.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on (SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, assured Nigerians that they will feel the impact of “the Renewed Hope Agenda” of President Tinubu irrespective of status, class or tribe.
The SSA, who is a former deputy governor of Lagos State, stressed the commitment of the Federal Government to providing basic infrastructure that will directly impact the citizenry
She said the government has fully equipped the hospital to provide quality health service delivery for mother and child.
Orelope-Adefulire added that it is aimed at reducing the maternal mortality rate.
She, therefore, urged the community to make adequate use of the health facility and ensure proper maintenance. (AEPNews)
